The 54th Annual Grammy Awards is the biggest night in music, and last night the nominations for the various categories were revealed to the public. Kanye West leads the pack with 7 nominations including a bid for 'Song Of The Year' for his all-star equipped track "All Of The Lights." His other nominations are delegated through various rap categories including 'Best Rap Song' and 'Best Rap Performance' for The Throne's "Otis". He is also in the nominations for 'Best Rap Album,' but not for his 2010 critically acclaimed album "My Beautifully Dark Twisted Fantasy," but instead for Watch The Throne.
Kanye West is not alone in the pack of multiple nominations. The queen of the nominations is Adele as was expected with 6 nominations including record, song and album of the year. Bruno Mars and The Foo Fighters tied with Adele having six nominations also in the album of the year category. Lil Wayne and Bon Iver scored four nominations. And surprisingly dubstep star Skrillex was honored with 5 nominations. Lupe Fiasco has 3 nominations, Rihanna landed a few nominations with a shocking nod forLOUD as album of the year . J.Cole, Nicki Minaj meet in the Best New Artist category. While Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now" is nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.
