It finally has happened. After months of speculation about what was causing a hold up in the signing of Slaughterhouse they have finally signed to Shady Records. Suddenly it doesn't matter whether it was Joell Ortiz or Joe Budden's who was holding up the process. Fans can finally rejoice that the closest thing to a Wu-Tang of the new era is here to stay and has solid ground to stand on.
Eminem had the following to say about the signing of the two acts - “Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse, it’s kinda phase two of Shady,” says Eminem. “It’s the new generation of Shady Records and as we’re trying to rebuild our label, it’s exciting for hip-hop and with all of these forces coming together and with what everybody’s capable of on the mic, it’s gonna be fun.”
